Love Conquers All

Valentine’s Day is approaching. Most of my committed folks would have already made plans for this day. Girls would be busy, shopping all this weekend and hunting for that ‘red hot’ dress to look sizzling and bootylicious. Similarly, guys would be busy buying a perfect gift for their love and making other plans for V- day. Some of them would even google “the best valentine day gift” and the unsatisfied candidates would opt for other search engines. Well, now it seems that New Media is really advantageous to us.

Love, Life and Assignments ;)

It is an accepted fact that Girls love to be pampered. Hence, guys religiously follow this principle and especially when it’s V-day, things would probably stick to the same pattern. But, as they say ‘Change is must,’ won’t u all like to see it the other way around? I do not know about your opinion but I would love to see that happen. So, girls pull up your socks and follow the below given tips to make this V-day a special one in your life:
  •  If your V-day plan includes going out for a movie, make sure you buy the tickets in advance without letting him know.
  •  Follow the adage, “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” and make a yummilicious cake all by yourself or any other edible food you are good at making.
  • Give him a big surprise or follow a whole series of surprise throughout the day. It may include gifts like his favourite perfume, a handmade card etc.

Girls, give it a whirl and believe me, doing this will give your relationship a boost.

vice versa

The above written matter has nothing to do with the singles. But, that does not mean V-day does not exist for singles.  It does and it holds special importance in everyone’s life. V-day is associated with love and all singles ought to celebrate the existence of love with their friends and family. Here are some tips you should follow to make this V-day more enjoyable:
  • Visit Surajkund mela with your friends. You will find interesting stuff from all over India and our neighbouring nations too.
  •  Go for a movie. If you are going to watch ‘Ek mein aur ek tu’ make sure to get the reviews first.
  • Girls can go for shopping and guys can opt for games like pool.
  •  Make a road trip with friends to a nearby place like Karnal, Murthal, Agra etc.
  • Those who do not want to bunk college can go to ‘Hut Shoppe’ a small restaurant in Madangir, which offers good food and an amazing coffee.

There are some other people who are so busy with their job that they do not even remember this day. MBICEM faculty is a concrete example of this. For such people, there are various online gift stores (use of New Media) which offer a variety of gifts, chocolates, greeting cards and bouquets with quick home delivery. So, they can avail this opportunity without hurting their loved ones.

chota-mota LoVe

In a nutshell, on this Valentine’s Day, celebrate love and try to find love all around you because LOVE CONQUERS ALL.

Dadi's superstition for good life

With this title you all must be thinking that this blog will again tell you that how our grandparents can be conservative or superstitious.
But I would like to tell you that you will not find any such things infact my grandma is not at all superstitious, she is the one who loves to attend kitty parties, she is the one who encourages me to attend parties , hang out with friends and many a times I ask her about good restaurants in town.
But there are certain things which she follows may be one can call them superstitions but in my   grandma’s eyes those things are discipline of life to lead a good life.
Recently, Star one channel has turned to Life ok and they have come up with some new serials out of which ‘Devo ke Dev mahadev’ a story on lord Shiva and goddess parvati is the best one to watch.
I along with my three sisters watch that that show with my grandma because she keeps on giving additional information about lord Shiva as the reason that she is a pure devotee to lord Shiva.
few days back while watching that serial my younger sister made some joke on the actor who is playing the role of lord Shiva in the serial and suddenly my grandma shouted on my sister although she never say any word to us.
She said “uska mazaak udake tum log bholenath ka hi mazaak uda rehe ho kyunki bana to voh bholenath hi hua hai naa.” By saying that joke we are actually linking it to Lord Shiva.
At that time even I laughed on the situation but after few minutes I realised that her intention was not to scold us, but to tell us that such jokes sometimes becomes our habit to criticise which we should not follow.
In this practical world, where sharing has faded out from people’s mind at this time only My grand ma first offer the very first bite of her chappati to god by putting it in the temple placed in her room. She believes that by doing this god will always bless our family with good health and life.
Whenever I drop even two drops of milk, my grandma teaches me a good lesson, and tells me that for us milk is not any other thing to drink. For us it’s a gift by god and we are lucky that we are getting or we can buy it because there are many people who die to get it.
If we think about superstitions, then there are many and out of them the black cat crossing(kali
billi rasta kat jayegi) is very famous and in today’s time nobody has time to pay attention to them but in them there are certain superstitions which I would like to call them the “facts” that we should follow them because by doing it we actually learn something and it makes no difference to our lives and lastly they are made by our ancestors only so there must be any reasons behind them.

My passion riding bike…..

Every person has a unique and different passion or they are crazy about some particular thing. My passion is that I just love riding bike; it gives my comfort and a leave a soothing effect on me. I really love riding my bike at point of time, irrespective of the weather conditions. I can’t recall a single day when I didn’t ride my bike, since I have been gifted by my parents, I feel it’s a part of me and I love it the most in the whole world. I still remember the day, I got it as my birthday present when I turned 19, last year, my first look on it “black metallic paint, white textured graphic, 350cc engine (its hell lot of power) twin spark and so much, oh my god its Royal Enfield 350 classic and its really mine, a thanks to mom and dad”. The first ride on it was amazing the sound of it, handling and everything is just great for me it’s the best cruiser bike in the whole world.

Riding it has always been a great experience, people usually show off or flaunt there cribs but for me its totally different, its about going out feeling the wind, feeling the surroundings around me going as far as, I can and no one is around to irritate me or trouble me , only if, I follow the traffic rules which is must especially wearing a helmet which, I never forget, but Delhi is too crowded so whenever, I need a long drive with it, I usually take the Delhi-Jaipur highway as its not crowded and, I can drive freely, most of the times, I am not alone my friend Sagar companies me with his super bike i.e. Honda CBR and we go till Manesar and then head back home.

Whenever, I feel too stressed or sad I just go for a ride with my bike and just like magic, I forget everything its my personal stress buster. With so much attachment comes great responsibilities also like cleaning it every time before riding, taking it for a wash once in two weeks, getting it service at right time. If, I need it so much so, I should also care about it. I feel there is a type of bond between me and my bike.

crashed,bumped and boomed!!!

I dashed into the gate while driving. It was the most hilarious and scariest incident, it was obviously adventitious but the funny part was that I was smiling due to my stupidity until I was brought to reality by my brother. He shouted at me and it was most unexpected as he never gets angry but I can’t blame him as the situation was such, it demanded anger. The first few words came from him were, “what a mad girl you are? If there would have been six people standing in a line, you would have killed them all”. Then I realized the seriousness of the situation after his comment, as before I was thinking to learn driving, one needs to hit something or someone, once for sure otherwise you can’t learn. Funny, I know!!! Don't worry the incident changed my whole thought process.

Now let’s go to flashback, how it happened, I still don’t have a license, but as I am a confident person from birth, I said to my family that I am going to drive all by myself to nearest Cineplex and comeback after having fun. So, my dad protested and detested as I don’t have a license, but as it was my brother’s car, I took it and he thought, that, if I have the confidence of going alone, I must be really good with driving. Probably he should have rethought, now I believe!!! So, I took the car and reversed it perfectly with great enthusiasm and charisma then while driving, my brother asked me to give space to the car behind, that’s it! It was the wrong decision, while I was giving the car behind space to overtake, I dashed into the gate. I dashed because my brother shouted to press the brake and under pressure I pressed the accelerator a lot harder! Though my intelligent brother pulled the handbrake but it didn't work as the car was in gear. I dashed into the gate, there was a boom!!! And I had a crash…
Story after accident, my brother was cool, he didn’t say anything after that remark, dad said the same thing and car went to garage to get repaired and somewhat around a bill of Rs.7500 came at my place and other than that nothing happened. The last thing happened was that I was asked never to drive again, till the time I don’t get license officially!!! A little sad story of mine ends here… it hurts!!!
