Men become slave to machine

Now-a-days people totally depend on machines. Most of our work is done by machines. Modern Gadgets have made us slave to machine.
Since the beginning of civilization man has been inventing things for his convenience. Everything is done by machines and the gadgets have made life easy and comfortable. The use of machinery has become popular in every field of life.
Life today has been so dependent on gadgets and machines that we can define modern life as mechanized life. Not only in the west but in the eastern or under developed countries also dependent on machines. For every small work the tendency to use machines are increasing that’s why our age is described as ‘push button age’.
Such an attitude has done a lot of harm to human health. People are becoming lazy and disease prone. We have given up those physical activities which makes the man health and fit. The new generation is going physically weak and suffering from so many ailments for lack of physical exercise.
Children have become obese, it is one of our major problem among the children as they sit glued for hours to there computers and television sets. They don’t go to parks for any outdoor games and don’t do any kind of physical exercise. Earlier there are very rare cases of heart attacks. B.P, diabetes it just because people do lots of physical work for example washing clothes, cleaning there house or going to their work place by bicycle or simply by walking. But now everything is done by machines like washing machine, vacuum cleaner, cars, scooters etc.
Physical work and sweat are necessary for maintaining health. Parents and teachers should be more watchful. They should encourage the children to do manual work. Last but not the least awareness should be created among the people through mass media. People should decrease their dependency on machines and must be encouraged to do physical work. It will be beneficial for physical health as well as mental soundness.
