FATAL FATE

The afterglow of life is protruding
Amongst the walking souls
People have trouble understanding
The glow is for times to come
The earth will become anew
With spirits long since dead
Re-walking their own dimensions
Of lives that they once led

As destiny surrounds us Coming to one and all
We have trouble understanding
What stands inside this hall
For life is much better here
And happiness is peace
A mutual serenity
Once it comes it will never cease

We all walk across the empty hall
There are things we cannot explain
The unknown is awaiting
For us to make the call
A gathering of Angels
Walk upon a golden stair
A beckoning they call to us "Come, we'll meet you there"

We are standing in the doorway

Then a vision of darkness
And the devil was in our soul
There's no use in explaining
What was the major goal
We don't really know just who it was That gave the final word
